The web is full of tools that require sign-ups, hide features behind paywalls, or quietly send your data to third-party servers. We built CommonTools because we were tired of that.
Our mission is simple: build the best free, browser-based toolbox on the internet. Every tool should be fast, trustworthy, and genuinely useful — with no strings attached.
All processing runs directly in your browser. When you paste text into a formatter or generate a password, that data never leaves your device. The only exceptions are network-based tools (like DNS Lookup or IP Checker), which must make an external request by nature — and even then, only the minimum required data is transmitted.
